This is a Direct Hire Authority (DHA) solicitation utilizing the DHA for Certain Personnel of the DoD Workforce. Perform applicant physical examinations in accordance with agency standards and assist with applicant medical processing at a Military Entrance Processing Station (MEPS). Ensure confidentiality of applicants and professionalism in the medical department; perform applicant medical prescreening as directed by the Chief Medical Officer; conduct complete face-to-face medical histories; complete computer and non-computer based medical documentation; verify problems or conditions alleged by examinees and recommend whether a more detailed physical exam is required; prepare documentation used to assess mental and physical fitness for military service; perform physical inspections of previously qualified applicants; and perform a variety of professional direct health care duties within general medicine. GS-13; travel up to 90% may be required.
