Fitness Facility Manager

This position is located on Fort Polk in Louisiana. At Fort Polk MWR, programs, gyms and activity centers provide support and entertainment for active duty military and their families. The Fitness Facility Manager role is integral to the overall leadership of the fitness team. Duties include supervising and overseeing management of garrison fitness facilities; performing diverse management operations including employee supervisory functions and budgetary and operational management; assessing facility requirements and developing plans for projects to augment or replace fitness facilities; overseeing inventory of property and fitness equipment condition; tracking maintenance, repair or replacement; instructing customers and monitoring proper usage of equipment; and conducting sports facility tours for VIPs.
